There are moments in life when the soul stands trembling at the threshold of transformation—when the paths once walked faithfully begin to yield to a new and holy summons.

For most of my adult life, I walked a spiritual path shaped by ancient devotion, mystery, and sacred practice. My faith was rooted in Hellenic and Celtic paganism, where I served as a priestess devoted to the sacred, seeking wisdom through old ways, ritual, and reverence for divine presence as I understood it. My journey was sincere, spiritually rich, and deeply formative. It taught me to listen, to seek, and to honour the sacred with intention.

Yet God, in His infinite grace, often meets us not only in certainty, but in the unfolding.

On the first Sunday of Lent, during the holiest season of resurrection, I experienced a calling that will forever transform my life. In a moment both deeply personal and profoundly spiritual, I encountered the unmistakable presence of God in a way that reshaped my heart. It was not a rejection born of fear, nor a denial of the spiritual journey that came before, but rather a divine invitation into something new—an awakening to Christ’s call toward Christianity within the Church of England.

Resurrection is not merely an event we commemorate; it is a living promise. It is the sacred pattern through which God continually renews, restores, and calls us forward. Just as Christ emerged from the tomb into new life, so too are we invited into seasons of spiritual rebirth.

My own Easter calling became a resurrection of the soul.

The path I once walked has not been erased; it has been transformed. Every season of seeking, every question, every sacred encounter became a part of the foundation upon which God would build a new ministry. This was highlighted to me by my local vicar Ravi, to whom I will be forever grateful for providing me with the essential missing piece to my spiritual puzzle; he pointed out that the “God of my understanding” was actually God. A simple but life changing revelation.

In truth, perhaps God had always been nearer than I realised. For many years, despite all my insistence that I walked another path, the final words upon my lips each night before sleep were still the Lord’s Prayer. I understand now that grace was quietly present even then—gentle, patient, and enduring long before I was able to name it.

Rather than destroying my past, God redeemed it—using every chapter to deepen my compassion, broaden my understanding, and prepare me to serve others with authenticity and grace.

Today, as a proud ordained OneSpirit interfaith minister I wanted to share with you, my friends, the change to my path. My calling is rooted not in abandoning the past, but in embracing the fullness of God’s redemptive work through every stage of life. My ministry remains one of bridge-building, compassion, spiritual accompaniment, and radical love.

I believe deeply that God calls each of us in unique and sometimes unexpected ways. No path is beyond redemption. No seeker is beyond grace. And no life sincerely offered to Him is wasted.

For those who find themselves standing at spiritual crossroads, questioning, seeking, or trembling before transformation, know this: God’s call is not always loud, but it is faithful. It reaches into the deepest parts of who we are and gently invites us toward light.

My prayer is simple:

May I walk in light,
May I live in service,
And may I love without condition.

This is the vow that I wrote for my ordination that now guides my ministry, my life, and the new path I walk.

And so I continue forward—called, transformed, and committed to serving God and humanity with an open heart.

Thanks be to God.
